Canadian artist Emily Damstra presents the magnificent classic Canadian maple from the novel perspective of being at the bottom of the tree. Looking up past the massive gnarled trunk, thick branches reach upward and outward, making the canopy appear distant against the sky. The textural and tonal design of the trunk, branches and leaves help reinforce the image’s sense of height and depth.
The tree fills the entire reverse, also engraved with the word “CANADA,” the date “2013” and the face value of “20 DOLLARS.”
Your coin is encapsulated and presented in a Royal Canadian Mint-branded maroon clam shell case lined with a black flock and protected by a black sleeve.
A perfect coin for arborists, nature enthusiasts and maple syrup lovers!
